They're just slow and dull attack attack attack attack attack, mess up sprint and repeat attacking. They aren't fun, they are not a real achievement. The pigmen in particular stand out as 'exploit knockback until you win' fights.Like don't put several levers in an empty room for no reason at all Don't put redstone input devices unless it's incredibly obvious they're for aesthetic. Don't make things look like secrets when they're not. Having arbitrary seemingly-meaningful buttons by a waterfall, or a single locked door with other levers nearby, or a chest with a block over it (this, don't do this) and a bunch of levers in nearby rooms. People want to be rewarded for cleverness.I'll say that they were incredibly difficult but that's like saying a boss rush with nothing easy in between is a game There were not that many secrets, even accounting for space. Having four, even incredibly difficult (and I"m not sure what qualifies as a hidden room room, I would assume heads but even after tearing the mansion apart in creative I didn't find all of them, perhaps I'll look in mcedit). I'm not going to pretend I found everything but I feel your secrets were lacking.

The general 'epic aura' I stated before has something to do with this, but that's almost entirely map design, as opposed to gameplay. It fails to appeal to all but a specific group of players that is, the main people who would like it are those who like hack and slash. It has an excellent map, does plenty of fancy things, and generally exudes an epic aura, but by itself has definite flaws. I'm going to say honestly that this map is not all that well-designed. It's really good and I tried as hard as I could for it not to be interpreted as bashing your effort. If by some chance you're reading this again please know I said "not all that" not "not at all".
